The Development Program for Rural Communities (DPRC)
Why a program for the development of rural communities!

- i. The Functional Literacy in Official Language Project;
- ii. The Community Education Project in Native Languages in agriculture, the environment, health, nutrition and food, family economics, management, as well as in citizens’ rights and duties;
- iii. The Technology at the Service of Rural Communities Project, covering research, documentation, management, and innovation.
The DPRC has two levels of implementation: the knowledge acquisition phase (theory) and the practical phase. Led by our team managers, the program relies on locally recruited trainers and facilitators to stimulate an active participation of our target communities for success. For a tangible impact of the DPRC, we need the support of institutions and individuals interested in real grassroots development. In particular, we also need the unfailing assistance of the political and administrative authorities of the beneficiary country (mayors, prefects, district chiefs, village chiefs and their councilors).
The DPRC is open to different socio-economic layers of the rural community, based on the realities on the ground. It targets their needs that we identify studying the communities and their environments.
The DPRC is a vital program for sustainable socio-economic and cultural development in rural areas.
