The Community Education in Native Languages Project (CENLP)

Why a Community Education in Native Languages Project?

The Community Education in Native Languages Project (CENLP) is the second component of the Development Program for Rural Communities (DPRC), which complements its first component, the Functional Literacy in Official Language Project (FLOLP). It aims at deepening the education of rural populations in the areas of agriculture, environment, health, nutrition, family economics, and citizens’ rights and duties.

This education is delivered in native languages, which reinforces the skills acquired and the capacities of the direct beneficiaries to in turn transfer them, to ensure the diffusion to the entire community, and thus to guarantee the action’s sustainability. The education sessions are organized in collaboration with resource persons and specialized services. We use appropriate tools (teaching materials, audios, videos, etc.).
