Functional Literacy in Official Language Project (FLOLP)
Pourquoi un projet pour alphabétiser les communautés rurales en langues officielle de travail !

The Functional Literacy in Official Language Project (FLOLP) is the first component of the Development Program for Rural Communities (DPRC). It is a tool we use at SODEV International to fight illiteracy and ignorance in rural areas by teaching the official national language. This teaching is based on a curriculum tailored to the needs of the beneficiaries to enable them to communicate with national authorities, other communities and other people.
The FLOLP also aims at continuous education, improvement of livelihoods and better management of activities and resources. It consists of two phases, namely initial literacy and post-literacy.
